A lot can change in one hundred years. In fact, the time between 1922 and now saw the Great Depression, a host of historical wars, a series of Civil Rights movements, prohibition, the first man in space, the introduction of antibiotic treatment and much, much more. One hundred years seems limitless.

As campus returns to a bustling hub of we’ve-done-this-before students and oh-shucks-did-I-get-my-books first timers, we are bombarded with new classes, events, and club involvement. One thing I certainly don’t recommend missing, however, is the opportunity to support fellow classmates as they head into much anticipated seasons of sports, theater, and choir.

Now that we are back at Centenary and anticipating games and meets for our spring season sports, it’s time to talk about the risk of injury.
