The Conglomerate is the student newspaper of Centenary College of Louisiana and is sponsored by the college’s Student Government Association. Founded in 1825, Centenary is the oldest college in Louisiana and the oldest liberal arts college west of the Mississippi River.

Jordan Fong

EDITOR-IN-CHIEF
I’m a senior English major and Communication minor. I have the absolute honor of being the editor-in-chief for The Conglomerate. Most of my free time is divided between updating my Letterboxd, obsessing over my Spotify Wrapped (yes, even if it’s the middle of the year), and talking about the latest project from John and Hank Green.

Fun Fact: I have been bullet journaling since my sophomore year of high school!
Aubrey Salazar

DESIGN CHIEF
Hi! I’m Aubrey and I am entering my second year as Design Chief for the Congo. I am a Junior New media design major with a minor in Computer Science. When I’m not working for the Congo I am busy doing my duties as a Lead resident assistant, NRHH member, SOAR lead team member, or prepping for Track Season. I like to stay busy (if you couldn’t already tell).

Haley Bordelon

MULTIMEDIA EDITOR
Hello! My name is Haley Bordelon. I will be head of the Multimedia Department this year, and I am a senior Chemistry major here. I will be graduating with the class of 2024 and you can either find me at Mickle or at Bestea. I am from Baton Rouge, where I had a great time watching the Tigers win the College World Series. Fun fact, I am clearly a big sports fan, but I also spend a lot of free time crocheting and watching sitcoms.

Bio: Hello! My name is Mary Caruthers! I am a Theatre/English double-major, who is working for the Congo for the first time as a Junior Copy Editor! You can find me in Marjorie Lyons Playhouse working on our next show, hanging out in Anderson, or using most of my free time to write or gush about fantasy table-top games.

A fun fact: I know how to weld and drive a Genie lift, but sadly, I am not fork-lift certified.

I am a peer mentor, maroon jacket, and the Projects and Media Chair for La Légion Louisianaise. In my free time, I enjoy baking, watching musicals, and sending my mom photos of cute possums.

Hello! My name is Arionna and I'm currently a sophomore here at Centenary! I am a communication major with a minor in sociology. When I'm not studying, you can catch me trying to finally finish Teen Wolf or hanging out at the Magale Library.
